Ennybody know if the Series 1-2 Minx generator (including Series 1 Husky) can be used to replace the Series 111A-C Minx (and S 2,3 Husky) generator??
Or, can a Lucas 22258 be replaced by a 22700??

Yes, it is a direct bolt in replacement. The only different between the two
generators is that the 22259 has a slight "step" while the 22700 is smooth.
Also, the older generator had screw connectors while the newer one (22700) has
"Lucar" push on connectors. You will have to modify your wires by putting
"Lucar" connectors on them.
